• PURE will never buy “plain vanilla” carbon credits of unknown provenance
• We review the origin of every carbon credit and the security of its audit trail
• PURE holds donations in an escrow account and won’t hand over money to projects until the promised emissions reductions have been verified by a properly accredited entity and the credits handed over to PURE
• All purchases of credits are approved by Independent Trustees
• Purchase and cancellation of credits is always via Kyoto processes
