- Enhancing the viability of rural economies.
- Protecting biodiversity.
- PURE has a preference for small-scale projects (83% of CER projects) as well as third-party certification of additional social and environmental benefits (50% of CER projects).
- PURE is an Official Supporter of the Gold Standard .
The Gold Standard is a Swiss Foundation that certifies the sustainability benefits of projects. - PURE has bought and cancelled carbon credits from the World’s first Gold Standard project to be issued with CERs by the United Nations.
