This calculator is designed to enable most businesses to calculate their carbon footprint. If in doubr click ‘help’ and seek our assistance.

For ‘energy consumption’ it uses the appropriate DEFRA published UK emissions factors for corporate reporting purposes. For ‘travel’, click on the information buttons for details of the methodology used there. For aircraft, a Radiative Forcing factor (e.g. the nonCO2 impacts of flying) of 1.9x has been used.

If all relevant sections are completed, this calculator will enable most businesses to determine their total carbon emissions in accordance with Scope 1 & 2 and travel emissions for Scope 3 of the GHG Protocol⁽ⁱ⁾.
