Project overview

All projects currently supported by PURE are renewable energy and efficiency schemes that support development in the countries in which they are located.

They are certified by the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism Board.

Donations to PURE are used to buy and cancel carbon credits generated by these projects, all of which meet the UK Government’s Quality Assurance Scheme for Carbon Offsetting. The projects are based in India, Brazil, China and Costa Rica.

• Fujian Zhangpu Liuao – wind farm
